With over two decades of experience on church staff and in volunteer roles across multiple positions, Jay understands firsthand the challenges of recruiting, leading, and training volunteers. He's sat in every seat — from the parking lot team to the elder board — and knows how real churches actually operate.
A corporate trainer since 2007, Jay has spent his career developing and delivering training that is clear, engaging, and effective. He doesn't believe in theory-heavy curriculum that falls apart the first time it's put into practice. Every lesson has to hold up when it matters.
Beyond instruction, Jay is committed to continuous improvement — actively training and competing to sharpen his own skills. He won't teach a skill he isn't sharpening himself.
