About Training

We offer three progressive courses designed to equip your safety team at every level of readiness. Course 1: Active Threat Awareness covers situational awareness and threat recognition (2 hrs in-person). Course 2: Unarmed Response teaches de-escalation and hands-on defensive skills for teams that don't carry (6–8 hrs in-person). Course 3: Armed Response covers response techniques for qualified team members who carry firearms (6–8 hrs in-person). Each course builds on the previous one. All three are currently delivered in-person, with online modules coming soon. We also offer a separate Range Qualification Service for concealed carry team members.
We recommend scheduling at least 6 weeks in advance for in-person training. This gives us time to coordinate travel, customize the curriculum to your church's specific needs, and ensure your team has time to prepare. For urgent requests, contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate your timeline.
Yes. All in-person training is conducted at your church facility. We travel nationwide, and travel costs are included in our training pricing. Training at your location allows us to incorporate your actual facility layout into scenarios and exercises, making the training more relevant and practical for your team.
For in-person training courses, the ideal group size is 12 to 24 participants. This allows for meaningful hands-on practice, individual attention, and effective scenario-based exercises. Once our online academy launches, there will be no participant limit — your entire congregation could take Course 1 (Active Threat Awareness) if desired.
For all three courses, no special equipment is needed. We bring all training tools including SIRT training pistols and non-lethal training force (NLTF) gear. For the separate Range Qualification Service, participants are required to bring their own firearm and approximately 50 rounds of ammunition for the live-fire qualification.

About the App

Yes, the ARX Command app offers four tiers. Free ($0/mo) supports up to 5 team members with a team channel and live ops view. Core ($35/mo) adds scheduling, check-ins, BOLO alerts, direct messages, and the emergency system. Team ($70/mo) adds gap coverage alerts and priority support. Church ($125/mo) adds multi-campus support and white-glove onboarding for larger churches.
ARX Command is available on both iOS (requires iOS 15 or later) and Android (requires Android 10 or later). The app is optimized for smartphones and works on tablets as well.
Absolutely. All data is stored with encrypted storage powered by Supabase. We do not share your data with any third parties. Your team's information, communication logs, and operational data remain private and secure at all times.
Yes. The ARX Command app works independently and does not require completion of any training program. However, we strongly recommend training to ensure your team can use the app effectively in high-stress situations. The app and training are designed to complement each other, but neither is a prerequisite for the other.

About Pricing

Spirit-Led Pricing means we work with your budget so that cost is never a barrier to safety. Instead of a fixed price list, we have a conversation about your church's needs, size, and financial situation, then build a plan that works for you. Our mission is to make sure every church can protect their people, regardless of budget.
Yes. We offer flexible payment options for training programs. Whether you need to split payments across multiple months or align with your church's budget cycle, we'll work with you to find an arrangement that makes sense. Contact us to discuss options.
Yes. Bundling multiple courses reduces the per-course cost, and we encourage churches to work through the full progressive system for the best results. Contact us to discuss bundle pricing tailored to the courses your team needs.

General

No, ARX Training is not a non-profit organization. However, our Spirit-Led Pricing model prioritizes accessibility and ensures that cost never prevents a church from getting the safety training they need. Our goal is to serve the church community, not maximize profit.
Yes. Online academy courses include digital certificates of completion upon finishing all course modules. In-person training programs include attendance and completion certificates for all participants. These can be useful for your church's records and for demonstrating your team's preparedness to church leadership.
Getting started is easy. Schedule a free consultation call with us. During the call, we'll assess your church's current safety posture, discuss your goals and concerns, and build a custom training plan that fits your team size, budget, and timeline. There's no obligation and no pressure — just a conversation about how we can help.
